Building

~ This past weekend we helped to build a living shoreline for oysters in Tampa Bay.

~ A beautiful reminder of teamwork and needing others; as the fireman’s chain, from shore to sea, was the only way we could quickly get it done. Plus, personally, I had to lean on others as I removed my stuck foot/shoe from the muck that was slowly engulfing my foot.

– And a reminder that you can’t always do ALL that you want or planned; as all the volunteers had to leave the water account of a massive thunderstorm and lighting. But the project will be finished – just on another day.
